Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin

Amateur golfers will get a chance to experience tournaments the way golf professionals do, back-to-back, at Hua Hin this November 26 to December 3, 2011. The 1st Thailand Team Amateur Championship will be held at the following top golf courses: Jack Nicklaus's Springfield, Banyan Golf club and Black Mountain Golf Club, which hosts the Asian Masters and the Royal Trophy. Organised by Golf Asian, teams of four amateurs will play five rounds of golf, including two practice rounds and three rounds of tournament play. Players play individually, with the two best scores counted at each hole.

Emirates recently hosted a golf clinic for youths from seven to 15 years of age. New Zealander Michael Campbell, a world golf professional, took on a teaching role, allowing children to work closely with a respected golfer. Campbell personally advised and coached boys and girls on golfing techniques, drawing from his extensive experience. Emirates, in support of the sport, now permits passengers to check in with their golf equipment without incurring extra fees.
